How is dead space? Is it worth dropping fifty dollars on it?
Screen Shots look good but I'm always kinda leery at spending that much money.

Iv'e heard so many good things about the game and i would get it but i do not like the 3rd person camera deal that you get with it.

I would say that its worth it.

Its a fairly lengthy game unlike those other staged based games that take a few hours to finish. This game took me days and its very replayable.

I just bought the game thinking the same thing.
Had time to play if for 2 hours last night and boy its worth fitty bux.
Graphics are great, sound is super, and its scary is hell.
Control are funky at first but the 3rd person feels a lot like 1st person in a way and works well with the game after about 1hr of getting used to it.It actually adds to the game even though I was skeptical at first too.

I got some time tonight to play it as well :rockout:

So if you bought doom 3 and/or Fear when they came out this a much better buy then those were.

Yeah some people hate the controls but never refer to classic horror games like resident evil where movement is even more limited. Its all meant to add suspense to the game, plus this game is very immersive which adds to the value of the story.

I actually like the way the old Resident Evil games played.
When the remake of #1 hit Gamecube it blew me away.
Wish they still made them like that, the backgrounds would be super good looking I bet.
RE2 was the best I wish they did a new version of that.

The game is really worth it only if you get used to the 3rd person camera which can be really a pain on most occasions. Also the game is pretty good considering that you can actually finish the game even if you are using the same weapon all around.

    ^^^^^

Try that also......it depends on the system i guess..

Use V-sync in the GPU panel for the game and that will make it better. I had the same problem and when i did that it just became better.

It would have been cool to see blood splatter on Isaac's suit everytime he killed a monster

i think the fact issac's suit gets rips and tears in it and dent's to the metal when you get hurt is a great touch
