My radeon 9800 Pro is feeling a bit dated now when I play Counter Strike : Source (due to all the updates from Steam) It now plays jerky on some maps and I just like it to look that little bit better.

Where can I find a cheap but decent 8x AGP card for £200 or under? nVIDIA or ATi it doesnt matter, I know a X800 Pro or GeForce 6800 GT would be hard to find in this price range :(

Come on guys show me the bargains LOL :D

the X800 XT is the best, the PE being the same with Higher Clocks the XL is using a different core but is still a 16 pipe card with lower clocks. The Pro has the same core as XT but has only 12 pipes. If you find a ViVo model of a Pro you may have sucess unlocking the other pipes to make it an XT(the one you linked is not that model)

oh and BTW that Powercolor on Komplett I linked is +VAT included ;)

Thx m8, so my best bet would be the:

    PowerColor Radeon X800XL 256MB GDDR3 AGP8X, VIVO/DVI, Retail

Time for some major creeping round the wife :D

then mod it to a X800 XT PE.
Same card as the one I've got & I'm sure most guys agree its probably the cheapest yet best route to go.
    6200 in 3dmark 05 - yes please!!

X800XL Is the way to go.....I've been reading that most of the New X800Pros VIVO Extra Pipelines are Lazered from the Manufacturers...so the 16pipes the XL has will be a Big Bonus over the 12 of the Pro's....Most peeps trying have gotten thier XL's to 460/550(Core/Memory) with some extra cooling.

Just picked up an XL for $250....to good a Price to turn down. :)

I got myself an AGP X800 XT for £220 (inc VAT) from pcbuyit.co.uk but it looks like they aren't stocking it at the moment. keep an eye out there for if any more come in.
