sorry to say this, but that card SUCKS!!, It's a bad joke of an 8800GS, It uses DDR2 and performs worse than any regular 8800GS/9600GSO (ddr3), even will perform worse than my current 8800GTS.

That 768MB of Vram will not make any difference, try to cancel that order and choose another card.

It's that you first wanna buy a 9500GT, then ask for advices and change your mind for a HD4830 (that's a nice card), then you ended buingy a card that if not are crap, performs much worse than a HD4830.

Really, any 8800GS/9600GSO (DDR3) will perform better than that 9600GSO/DDR2.

That card is not that bad, will be able to play many actual games at descent speed, but that are many more good choices out there for that money.

The HD 4830 is almost twice as good as a 9600GSO and GT and it spars with the 8800/9800GT.. It's your money tho..

that my friend is a 9600GSO, will be a nice upgrade of that 7800GTX you have, even if It's not perform like a HD4830/9800GT will give you a nice performance boost.

yea im kinda mind boggled with all these cards,and being kinda budgeted,that card is going to be fine for now,ill Prob SLi them down the road, and im planing 2 more gigs of memory ,im on a 32bit so i know im not going to get the full 4gigs ,but thats cool

I just wanted something better then the 7800gtx,that's all,i have seance gotten the evga9600 512mb and its fine for what i play,

I mean im getting 200fps on cod4,around 25fps on fsx,with the everything on 75%,which s good for FSX and about 70fps on cod5 WAW!!!.so im satisfied.

True but not by much..I think a Single 4870 vs a 4830 Crossfire setup the 4870 has a much more solid structure. My experience with Crossfire has been great but I would rather have a 4870 due to the fact that I could add another in the future and have great performance.
