Desktop froze. Restarted and no video / New motherboard choices

So I was on my desktop like normally, and then suddenly the WHOLE rig just froze. Even the caps lock button did nothing. So I hit the reset button and now there is no signal to the monitors.

If you think its the mobo I would look into updating the bios for it.

Check and see if there is an updated bios on the manufactures website.

If that doesn't sort it I would test my memory for errors.

Okay, slight "bump" for more assistance. I wanna know if there is a good motherboard, that has SLI/OCing abilities, AM3+ mid-atx for $150 or lower.

My parents own a pair of ASRock 990FX Extreme4 and they have been alright for two years, nothing amazing but they seem to work fine. The oldest one has been running an FX-8150 at stock for two years and the newest one has been running a X6 1100T at 3.6GHz for over a year.

I'll be running a FX-6300 in it. I'm sure it'll run fine if it can run a FX-8120 easily.
