    Whats your cat say ?

Yeah it looks likes its pulling air in from the back and exhausting it from the front of the case?

the cat was very disturbed by the situation. i think they just mounted it backwards. not a big deal but i havnt fired it up yet to check it out myself. i want to get all the fans in first before doing all that.

The fans are right, I have one of the clear ones infront of me, says airflow goes to the side with the model number.

Your fans are totally normal. They are mounted correctly. The Air is sucked in from the front and blown out in the back. No worries.

I have always lived by air goes in the direction of the sticker. This may be by pure chance but has not once failed me.

99% of fans follow that rule. the exceptions are the odd ones, like those without a frame

I find that the air exhausts towards the side with the wires....anyway just hold a small piece of paper and u will find out....BTW those fans are absolutely useless and need to be changed out.

What the h*ll, thought i was blind or NOOB reading the first posts agreeing the fans are not right...:laugh:

Teh fans are NORMAL!Intake front-bottom,blow out from middle back...

Well purely with your best interest in heart i d say that when u mess with technology u must not follow guidelines (like air goes with the sticker) but use your head.
Observe which direction the fan's fins are curved to and then u realize where the air goes to!
    Again NO OFFENSE!
Just to show u the correct way of thinking!:toast:(IMO anyway)

there are standards for a reason. fans will always blow the same way, otherwise you'd be screwing them into a case and having the hub grinding against the case (unless the fan was outside the PC)

thanks guys. i just find it strange that fans are manufactured to blow toward the power wire and the support spokes...looks at every other fan made. strange.

as said above, its because the other way around the hub would be pressing against the case (or heatsink). it'd be silly if screwing a fan in, caused it to stop spinning :p

Nope they're fitted correctly. fastest way to tell what way a fan blows, it always blows towards the side that actually holds the motor : ]
