Disable Safe To Remove

    Hi all... I can't figure out how to disable the SAFE TO REMOVE icon that pops up with my fresh install of Vista... with XP I can find a regedit to delete the icon, however in vista, the same set isn't available... under xp it's under the nvata line... Does anyone know what line vista uses in the registry for this? It's for a SATA hard drive, TIA :confused:

    You can always set it to "Always hide" in the notification area icon settings.

    yeah... but then I get that arrow, and that bugs me too, lol... sorry I'm OCD about my desktop

    Funny,i dont get that on vista x86,i have two sata hdd's and my sata hotswap 160gb/2.5" hdd.

    :confused:In vista it doesn't have a nvata registry... only in xp....
