Do you have a Razer Lycosa?

I wanted to know if anybody has this keyboard and what they think of it so far. I've been hearing things like, the keys look solid black in regular lighting, and the rubber type coating rubs of quickly. Is this true? I love the looks of this keyboard.

that is a nice keyboard also. I've decided to stick with my Eclipse II for now, I just liked the looks of that Razor Lycosa but after further research, it turns out to be crap. I guess the coating rubs off real easy, You cant see what key your hitting in plain light because the letters or what not blend in too much, WTF!, the LED's I heard were good and bright, and also it has not one usb but two of them that plug in to your pc.

I just bought it to replace my Eclipse II,..what a coincidence! I am not sure about the key coating because I have had it for only about a week.
My initial impressions are it looks good and I LOVE the touch screen. The key led brightness in bright room light is fine if you are looking straight down at the keys, but if you are at an angle (most people are I think) then they do get dim and distorted. :wtf:

Also, there is an option to shut all of the LED's EXCEPT the WASD keys, and when you do, the WASD keys glow VERY bright.

I am thinking about returning it to Best Buy because I have fixed the stuck keys in my Eclipse II. All in all it is a decent keyboard but, programming the macros and the deal with the LED keys plus, the price makes my Eclipse II seem better. I do like the looks of this Lycosa though!!

Umm...yeah, the coating on my Razor Copperhead is coming off & my friends mouse was almost bare when he got the new Razor mouse.

I recently bought the razer lysosa.It is a great great key board if you hate the "bulging" keys most keyboards have. The Keyboard is very chic. I just got it today. I think that it as a general keyboard. If you like the keys on your laptop you will love this keyboard. The glowing keys are cool. I also saw a different key board where the illumination could change colors. Over all i am very content with this keyboardno promises :rockout:

Love the Lycosa. Keys are plenty bright enough, media functions work nicely, coating is still intact after many, many hard hours of gaming. I just recently spilled Vault in it, and it's been having problems since...sad sad day.

i own a lycosa and i can say the finish is amazing and the coating doesnt wear off and the lighting is bright enough and eve if yo ddont think it is theirs even a mod for it the kb is nice lightweight and functions very well as well as being comfy

i went from a logitec G5 to a Microsoft/Razer Habu (it was cheap), and i dont like it much, im thinking of going back to the G5, the accuracy is a bit off, it trembles, its nice on reaction, but a pain in the A** for small accurate tasks,

just got lycosa yesterday and imust say i love it. it looks cool, leds bright up the keys well. typing is much better than in mu generic logitech keyboard. only downside is that only wasd keys are lit up when in gaming mode: it would be cool to be able to light up courch and jump keys allso.

I can say so far, so good for me. It took a while to get that "tactile feel" I had gotten used to from my Saitek, but the finish is still good on the keys and plastic. It is also light, (especially compared to my original Eclipse) and easy to lan with.
