I want to buy this but i don't really know if it is worth the money.
It would be nice if i can enjoy wifi internet in the park, a few hundred meters from my home.
I want the Linksys WRT54GL or the WRT54G.

Most of you probably know that this a great router to flash it with DD WRT firmware.
So you can turn this $50 router into a very expensive one. As seen here: http://lifehacker.com/software/router/hack-attack-turn-your-60-router-into-a-600-router-178132.php.

But is the Yagi antenna really necessary or could i get the same distance with 2x 9dbi antenna's?

I am also considering buying the Linksys WRT54GL with SD/MMC mod:

This way it is possible to use the router as torrent client or ftp server.

So please give you advice on this.

    Thanks:D
