Well, question is above, does higher FSB affect CPU temprature on Intel Core 2 Duo chips?

For eg, 400FSB x 9 vs 450FSB x 8?

It shouldn't affect CPU temperatures, but it might accept Northbridge temperatures, but only by a few degrees.

Cpu voltage has much much more impact on cpu temperatures than a higher fsb.
Normally if I don't touch the voltage, my cpu temperature remains the same as with a lower fsb.

Technically Yes it can, higer FSB gets electricity moving faster and with faster movement coupled with general friction comes higher heat.

BP is spot on that your Voltage will be a more direct impact on your temp than FSB.

Usually you have to crank up the NB Voltage, to run higher FSB which will increase your NB temps.

But not a huge noticeable temperature increase
