Does TRIM cause extra wear or not?

    I've been wondering this for some time and no one really answered this question in any review.
    TRIM clears erased cells so they are really erased and ready for fast writting. But does clearing the cells cause wearing or not? From my understanding of SSD's i'd say it does wear them when TRIM does it's magic. Or does it?

    no difference [for wear] if you erase after trim or before you write.. you have to erase in any case
