At least in the demo with an overclocked GTX 465 it runs like total crap and has the messed up textures. Runs lightning fast in Directx 9 at 1920 * 1200 but looks really dumbed down. I really don't like demos sometimes since they don't give you a positive expression of the finished product. I don't think anisotropic filtering looks to be working at all. I always play with 16x so none has me really not impressed. It just looks really wierd and runs so fast with my I7 rig it doesn't look all that great. I sure hope they didn't screw the pooch on this one. I'm also not impressed with the presentation of the demo. The Dwarf does not sound like a Dwarf to me. I won't be using the demo to make my final buying decision but I am worried here. :banghead:

Ive seen screenies a while back that made me worry they might have killed the game.. ill definetly be waiting for a few post OMGITSHERE reviews to decide whether to buy it

AF is not working It's disabled so is DX11 due to being a demo.. and a bunch other other things.

Thats been known for quite some time. They made the game more like Mass Effect. You only get to be Human. I just don't get it. And what little I saw of the skills setup looks a little wierd. I'll try it some more later after work.

Like others have said, terrible framerate with dx11. I really like the combat, but the menu system looks to be completely consolized, which sucks to the *nth degree. Reminds me of how the UT3 console was brutally murdered.

Sad really it takes part of what the RPG actually was in the 1st place.. It's like taking the elf and dwarf out of NWN3.

Asshole like really all because they want to release the game earlier Psssh. I bet they have to make 1/2 dozon DLCs but they cannot keep the game true.

And if they do it to NWN3 i'll kill'em all lol. I played the Elf, dwarf and Human but mainly the dwarf as i do in any RPG that gives the option.

game looked and ran fine here for me in DX11, completed the demo in one sitting.

who cares if you're only human. RPG doesnt automatically mean you can choose any species you want.

oh and rage to the preorder DLC's, preorder to get access to special shops with the best items in the game? good way to make people "pre-order, or pirate" with no middle ground :rolleyes:

I can only run the demo without crashes if I use the very lowest quality settings.

The combat system seems more like watching the AI battle itself.

The graphics seem bland and colorless.

I was eagerly awaiting the release of DA2, now I am waiting to hear back from EA how to cancel my pre-order.
