i thought the 120Gbps backbone provided by Telia was a pretty amazing feature. I think W1z should do something like this for TPUers! ha!

i've thought about going there some time, my brother lives close to it. but nowadays i don't care that much for gaming anyway so it will probably not happen.

I watched the Starcraft 2 finals at Dreamhack. Hero v Puma. It was a pretty epic match, all 7 games were played.

I just reread that sentence. I wasn't AT Dreamhack. The tournament was there though, lol. I'd like to go to something like that someday.

Going to something like this isn't about gaming. It's about going just to be there, to be part of it. I could careless about gaming with 11,999 others i don't know, because odds are I won't be.

I would not want to be there. But its cool...kinda.

I'd rather go to a smaller lan. More personal I'd think.

Corsair was covering this with mass amounts of images on their facebook page. Interesting pics to say the least, and there are Corsair babes!

Agreed, you'd be eaten up inside so much people. It looks cool from the pic, but not going to be when you get into that moshpit.

Besides, it's just 12.000 people. There's this MillionManLan...

no girls on that one though. lol.

The MML only draws a couple thousand of gamers from the way the site reads.

This is cool... but I cant see myself wanting to go to one of these unless it was to compete (if I did that), and even then I would prolly prefer to do it from the comfort of my house...

The cool part is the infrastructure and what it took to pull it off... sitting in a plastic chair for a day surrounded by greasy dudes, on the other hand, doesnt seem that cool.

That cisco switch alone must have cost a fortune... our itty bitty switches are like 20K.
