I need a free dvd burning program. I like something simply and lightweight, I don't want a complicated bloatware program. All I'm trying to do is make a data dvd.

+ 5 to imgburn. The only thing you need for data.

imgburn works for dvd video too - point it to the directory (with audio/video dirs) and cut it loose. No need to create ISO first. :)

I'm liking the free Ashampoo version 6 or whatever more and more. Does a good job, is free and intuitive. ImgBurn has sort of an "idiot" menu, but it can still be annoying if you don't use it very often.

imgburn and ashampoo are what I use and they're awesome (though I prefer ashampoo free studio).
