I think the main reason most of us are complaining is because we have no clue as to how good the image will look, all we can see is the giant bezel :laugh:

Even with the crazy high cost i think some reviews are in order before anyone can say how useful it is, saying that though I'm pretty sure that by the time there are more brands making them and at a much lower cost they wont look anything like this.... i hope :laugh:

So in 5 years these should start to be affordable. I hope the upper class gamers take notice to the first of the line no-glasses 3d monitors paving the way for us all.

Also 3DS should push this market more into the main if it is kick ass as we are lead to believe.

performance (viewing angles, etc) and looks will get better over time, i'm just glad the tech even EXISTS.

I agree this will become affordable. Our first widescreen TV was a standard definition plasma that retailed at $14,000 (I didn't pay for it :pimp:

), 2 years ago I replaced it with a HD LCD for $2300, the same item now is $1500. All this happened in 10 years.
As the cost of tech drops faster with time, I reckon theese will fall below $1000 within the next few years.

Nowadays you can see in shops a tv with two different colours, black and white. The white one usually costs more than the black one and still sells more than the black one. And I mean a difference from 100 to 200 euros.

Wheres's the logic? I don't know.

By then ATI will have the cursor issue fixed and we can see these in EyeInfinity.

The monitor is ugly, but as others have said, there's a lot of things in there not needed in your standard monitor. Give it time and we'll have models that look sleek and are good for Eyefinity and whatnot. It is also worth to point out that this is the very first monitor of its kind. So it's a young technlogy.

Ive been to two, 3-d movies, and they are in no way worth the 20 dollars, all I ended up with was eye strain and a head ache! 3-D just needs to hurry up and die so I can stop hearing about how it's the "future"!:shadedshu
