It doesn't matter what kind of character I start with because I have PCCS (perpetual character creation syndrome). lol

Normally you can't block with a weapon, but you can parry. Is that not an option?

huh? how to block with two daggers in hand??? left and right swings the daggers and clicking simultaneously will make a special action that inflicts massive damage

oh and you can block with a weapon, just not as effective as the shield.

Lol sneak is kinda broken in this game.. I can stand like 2 inches in front of an npc in sneak mode and still stay undetected.. but in other times, you get detected.. and this is in daylight / lamp light btw.

Just saying if you really need some money I got codez for that, and well just about anything. I currently have made a 178+ page word doc, of item codes and lots of other things. though not all work.

Does anybody know if level up your smithing and making nice armor like Elven and stuff do bad guys auto upgrade with those items as well?

I think npc's level with you, but not like Oblivion where theifs would be wearing daedric armor and crap. I'm in Orcish Armor right now and working on Daedric and stuff is easier to kill than it was in Steel or Dwarven Armor.

Is there a way to make mage armor sets? I'm just buying/wearing whatever comes along. Leatherworking and BS is not the way. I don't think there is anything else. I'm new in this game couldn't play oblivion, I was bored to death and had a crappy computer back then.

Enchanter will only allow you to remove caster enchantments from robes and place them on the Heavier Armors. I don't think there is any decent cloth in the game, seems everyones stuck using armors made of metal sadly.

After reading RPS I just wanted to make my own armor. You can also make light leather armors which are of no use to mages. Maybe they will add it with a DLC.

If you enchant them they are very useful, since you won't take an arrow straight through the chest and die all the time. I am playing a battlemage-esque character who specializes in One-Handed Weapons and Destruction Magic, while wearing Light Armor. So far so good imo.

me three, so if you got ideas on what armor to use i'd appreciate it - using light elven armor atm, cause it lets me carry more loot.

Depends on field of vision, humans can only see so much without turning their heads. The games programmed like that. Depends a lot on sound too, as an example heavy armour makes more sound. Its not as bad as Oblivion, guards could see though walls ect (a bug).

I'm playing a High Elf because I liked the way they looked and remembered they were more magic(ka)-oriented. I had been using Imperial Light Armor for a while, but switched out some pieces for Hide Armor that I crafted and acquired, and am now considering using the Wolf Armor I just got since I think it classifies as Light and it looks really damn cool.
