Enermax's newly developed liquid CPU coolers series LIQTECH 120X and LIQTECH 240 feature a high quality aluminum water block to improve the cooling efficiency with minimum noise, an innovative radiator structure that provides a seamless contact area and increases heat dissipating speed. Foremostly, the unique patented Shunt-Channel-Technology (SCT) hidden in the water block eliminates the heat surges and boosts the thermal conductivity. The LIQTECH series also comes with 2 latest Enermax Twister Pressure PWM fans (high-pressure airflow) with smart APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) control providing 3 peak RPM options. The High-Pressure Airflow fans are detachable fan blades design for easy cleaning solution.

The LIQTECH series comes in two variations, the LIQTECH 120X is a 120 mm length radiator and the LIQTECH 240 is a one piece 240 mm full size radiator. For this series, radiators are designed with innovative SEAMLESS structure, which offers 120% contact area than conventional structure (Figure 1). This makes the fins to carry away more heat from the pipes and cool the coolant efficiently than traditional structures; yet, with the radiator thickness of 43 mm only.

A stand out feature of the LIQTECH series is the high quality aluminum water block and luminous LED for power-on indication (Figure 2). This series of liquid CPU coolers applies Enermax's new patented Shunt Channel Technology (SCT) cold plate (Figure 3), the revolutionary SCT redistributes the coolant and maximizes the coolant utilization rate. The less utilized coolant has the opportunity to blend with the heated coolant which traveled through the hot areas. Furthermore, SCT helps to break the boundary layer formed in the micro fin channels and enable coolant to take away more heat.

Enermax LIQTECH 120X/240 feature the latest Enermax Twister Pressure fans, which are High-Pressure Airflow Fans with APS Control(patented) forcing more air over time to increase cooling. The Smart APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) Control features with 3 Modes, Silent Mode: 600~1300 RPM, Performance Mode: 600~2000 RPM, and Overclock Mode: 600~2500 RPM (Figure 4). With the all-in-one, closed-loop system, the Enermax LIQTECH 120X and LIQTECH 240 both provide superior cooling performance without the complexity of DIY water cooling kits. LIQTECH series is a 100% maintenance-free, all-in-one liquid cooling systems with prefilled coolant. Along with powerful fans with detachable blades for easy maintenance, the smart aluminum bracket also offers trouble-free installation.

The Enermax LIQTECH 120X (ELC-LT120X-HP) will be available in late October, and LIQTECH 240 (ELC-LT240-HP) in mid-November.

This is their own patent design and not an asetek rebadge yes?

Anyone else noticed that the waterblock/pump combo looks rather identical to the SilverStone Tundra ALC's?
Interested to hear more from these new units, but as always it all boils down to price and performance.
ALC's are still rather expensive seeing they perform on par with high end HST coolers which cost less.

Probably because it is the TD01 and TD02 block design. As far as I'm aware Silverstone don't make that block design either.

Silverstone said they were working close with a new OEM, not Asetek or CoolIt from our discussion, but they would not divulge who it was either, when I asked.

Enermax makes some nice PSUs (got four) and some decent quiet fans. That said I doubt the a 2000 rpm fan will fall in the the later category (yeah I know performance setting is noisy but that it not why most buy WC). As I understand the cooling of the newer Intel CPUs is mostly restricted to the sillicon/CPU lid contact and any improvement in CPU core temperature is to be found there. Sure you still need a good radiator/fan/head but I doubt that any of the 240 mm already on the marked will differ much from this new one. A test is of course always welcome :)

Becomes very clear that not Silverstone not Enermax does not produce this product !Ordered from GAO who knows the parts too like ,and added a different label maker will not change this! Enermax has added a better cover on pump and also looks thicker pipes to give at least a little better flow.Improved cooling element and radiator will get you slightly better results to the previous closed liquid cooling units !Here we need to know that regardless of all these improvements, we have pre thin pipes and to litle radiators to achieve maxsimalni effect of water cooling, but for this money you dont get better !Processor will be well cooled and extended lifespan is expected hen max OC is limited !

Saw a review of the single 120mm version... They are not better than actual AIO coolers...

Same temps. 1 or 2 of difference

Are both the 120 and the 240mm rads going to be 42 mm thick?

    Then I likey :)
