I just dont like games where is needed to play long to get in some action.I like games where is action from the start like lineage 2 ect.Its just not my tipe of game.

It was actually #1 on mmorpg.com for 2009. Best tip: do the full tutorial, train some learning skills, and then get socially interactive fast. Join a corp as stated above, get out there and have fun!

EDIT: seems I'm too late. Don't let it bog you down tho, you really can get out & have fun early.

If anyone has ever played the X series games, The space sim, its really no big difference besides skills and ship movement. I played alot of X3:Terran Conflict and it was a decent starter for EVE. I mean as far as the weapon layouts and what-not. You can own stations and stuff like that

I only solo a couple of missions a week so that i can pay for a plex, the rest of the time is roaming in T1 ships trying to gank something bigger

I solo for my mishs. I am working on getting my standings up with Amarr Navy so I can get a jump clone in Youl. Im doing lvl 3s in my Rokh, they are EASY but lvl 4s woop that ass! lol Thats when you ask corp members to help
Im training for better weapons and t2 defenses so I can get them done lol.

Damn thats awhile! I only had dial up, a Slot 1 P3, 512MB RAM and Radeon 7000 64MB back then and it woulda played it alright lol. I wish I started from beta but I was too busy with high school and college.....and girls

Eve is hard to get into, but once you get addicted, it's like drugs.

I quit because it was eating up too much time though. Many co-op operations in Eve require you to be online 24 hours a day, lol.

Hello, my name is Tom-Helge.

Yes i play EVE Online. I have done that since early March 2004. But i started my real character 9. November 2004 though.

So i had some trial accounts going for a while before i found out that it was time to play EVE for real.

I have for the most part been a PVPer, but it happens some few times that i want to do something else. So when that happens i'm just doing level 4 missions to just get some isk.

Even when i don't have alot of kills, i'm not that bad anyways though. I know what i'm doing in PVP and so on.

But to the info about my character that is called NightmareX.

And i'm currently in the corp Dark-Rising in the IT Alliance. So yes, we are spanking Northern Coalition atm. So far we are doing great against them.

I was in a nice but laggy fight 12 april, that is 2 days ago. We was in KQK then and local was up to around 800 peoples. And i got me 24 new kills. But i could have had like 50-60 kills if it haven't been for all of the lag there.

I spent half the time to wait on my modules to activate lol. So because of the lag, it wasn't even worth to fraps the fight.

But anyways, here is the stats from the fight in KQK 12 april: SC vs NC.

And here you can see the kills i got from that fight: NightmareX's Stats.

306 kills in total isn't really impressive, but take a look at the Damage done (ISK) i have. But even the 62.02 Bill isk i have done in damage is wrong when you look longer back on my kills when you see that i have 5x Mothership (Super Carrier now) kills.

Every of those Mothership (Super Carrier) kills are all from 17 bill isk to 18.5 bill isk in damage each. So the damage done by me is quite alot more than 62 bill isk.

Pretty impressive stats ya have there lol. Too bad you guys kicked us outta Providence region.....CVA is putting up absolutely no fight so we (Aspire Field Works and Aspire Industrial Faculty) had to pull out of there as we stand absolutely no chance lol Poor 7YW.....

We are in hi sec b/c of the whole CVA Vs. -AAA-. Our POS was in CVA territory and we had to abandon space. Our PvP group is small and no match for a cap fleet lol. Our Academy has the most members in our Alliance.

Woa, was that all concord, or faction military enforcement? Last time I've seen that much NPC gate camp was when we did a 70man frigate enemy hi-sec run in militia like a year ago. Spawned 2-3 ships per frig lol.

I kno this thread is kinda dead but i just now started playing eve again. I'm already apart of a corp but i was curious if anyone had made a Corp for TPU, as that'd be sweet . We got steam group n stuff so i think it'd be cool to see TPU's members' working together in games we play as much as we help each other in these forums.

So was just curious if there was a TPU corp, and if not if there's anyone that's not in a corp they should join the one i'm in bc we're awesome

I havent looked to see if there was a TPU corp lol. But I just joined my new null sec corp, Nex Somes Ubertas Venator [Fidelis Constans] We are of the old Provi group until it was taken over by AAA and friends, so they decided to war dec Ev0ke and Cry Havoc. in Pure Blind. We removed Cry Havoc. from PB but we need to purge Ev0ke now. 500+ man fleets are great!

We're a rather new alliance, only 358 members or so, but we're just building up or resources and skills, esp pvp since the majority of my alliance(including me) doesn't have much experience or the best skills for pvp fittings. But our CEO Timeline Redghost is planning stuff in the future. We ratt in Stain so i'm guessing somewhere down there is where we're going to try and bust through and get on the map lol.

That's why i enjoy eve so much, it's all based on the player base. Economy, wars, factions, all of it is run by the playerbase. Kinda like RL in space haha. Course i've always wondered what would happen if the ENTIRE playerbase allied and try to attack the NPC factions. Would be awesome imo.

Yea all ya guys would have to do is go down to a sov'ed space and ask to see if ya guys can rent out some space for a POS and a place to rat/plex/mine. Help them out with there sov wars and maybe they will grant u some space for helping out, just as -Mostly Harmless- has done with Fidelis Constans. They wanted Ev0ke and Cry Havoc. outta Pure Blind so they asked us to help and they would give us some sov. Now in the end we own 4 or 5 systems

well idk the specifics of it n how we were gonna try to get sov. Were it me i'd just ask to rent a few titans n destroy all their stations XD. n i'd never heard of the whole rent thing n whatnot. just thought we were gonna do it by brute force, ur idea makes more sense tho haha
