    No, the GTX 295 doesn't have a backplate. This goes on the backside of the card mostly for looks, though it does work as a heatsink too.

    Dunno. Would a 65nm 260 backplate work? If so, you could try contacting eVGA about getting one.

    I've seen some people get some great results with this 10 - 20 C better from what I've read. Sucks how no Australian etailers sell it :( gotta order internationally.

    Where did you see that? Anyone know of any reviews for this?

    btw, this looks like it will work with any GTX 295 based on the reference design?? I ask because I got this BFG card recently:

    I believe it does work with most GTX 295's.

    Don't bring old Hot Deals back to life though, you get me excited that there actually might be a good deal posted on TPU.
