I remember Video cards being Top end parts and only being 400 Dollars, Namely the Radeon AIW 9700 Pro, todays the prices are still too damn high. I think it would be wise to wait for NVs refresh.

There was an even better deal that I had posted right here but it appears to be sold out. Sorry.

I ordered mine yesterday around 6PM EST and it's still "In Production" step.

    $512 - $150 coupon + $33 tax FREE SHIPPING = $395 still a pretty good deal IMO.

That was the good deal that I posted then later deleted because it was unavailable. From what I've heard all of the 480s that they had in stock have been shipped out but they are supposed to be getting more in next week. At least that is what they were saying over at Slickdeals.

Dell often has some really good deals but I wonder if it's really worth the hassle with them. It seems that sale items are always out of stock and take forever to arrive. That and their communication sucks, I've received items and it still says "In Production" on their site.

I don't know man, getting a 25%+ discount on something that isn't discounted anywhere and then paying 5% sales tax seems worth it to me.

Yeah, they sent me an email saying my order was delayed, ETA Delivery Date 6/28 (old date is 6/14).

For those that got the GTX 480 for under $400 it was a good deal. But at the current prices, it's better to buy from TigerDirect. 12% cash back makes it almost the same price, and your shipping won't be delayed for like a month.
