I saw this and thought "too good to be true" so I passed. I want to see how it all pans out, seems like there is some confusion right now as to whats going on.

I was referring to the thread over @ Slickdeals.net - made me nervous about buying from them.

Great deal though, Im still holding out for my 470.

    MIR?

Rebates suck until they are over $20.

so has anyone ever ordered from these guys?? chief value?? never heard of them. i dont have enough to gamble tbh, but this would be a slick deal!

EDIT: seems they are a subdivision of newegg. reseller ratings are pretty good, except the one or 2 guys that had ordered a back ordered item and got pissed about it. to bad they dont take paypal otherwise i'd soooo be in!

Chief Value is the sister site of Newegg. I have ordered stuffs from them before and worked just like Newegg. I have 2 being shipped right now. May be it's time to downgrade my 5970 and save some $$$.

Finally received 2 regular clock cards today. They OC very well in SLI but performance still fall short of 5970. BFBC2 at 2560x1600 (1x aa, 16 ani) and max details is choppy. Lowering details to medium still produce the same result, weird. May sell these once my 5970 is back from RMA.

Both are gone. Too bad too, it was a good deal. Anyone who ordered one, tell me if it was legit!

Most Hot Deals run "out of date". We just don't bump or reply to the thread and let them die a miserable death.;)
