Remember the little teaser image EVGA posted, of a new graphics card. Well, according to VideoCardz.com, the picture if of the GeForce GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition, an uber-end card developed by EVGA with the help of well-known overclocker Vince "k|ngp|n" Lucido. The card is supposed to pack 6 GB of RAM (the stock GTX 780 Ti has 3 GB) and feature 'no TDP limit and unlocked voltage' so as to allow for some of the highest clocks possible.

No word on frequencies but it's likely the card will be factory-overclocked with some headroom available for people who want to push it even further. The EVGA GTX 780 Ti Kingpin Edition is said to be launched in December and will surely have a hefty price tag ($999 maybe?).

    I'll buy one...
Only if kingpin will be overclocking each card personally.

Hmm, I feel the urge to spend another £800 on a gfx card that might well be trumped again in a few months.....

Though a full core GK110 with no TDP (needs better VRM) and 6GB would be slightly more awesome than sauce. If I sell my Titan for about £400, I'll be tempted to buy one of these..... But if it's not got over 3GB memory - not interested.

This is for competitive overclockers. n00bs need not apply. Anybody who has ever tried to get to the top 20 on HWBOT knows just how expensive it can be to take any VGA card there. It costs' over $1000 USD to take a regular 780 there. KPC edition makes it so much easier, by essentially requiring only a pot and that's it.
Think of it like some more advanced car mods, most people need not apply. However the ones who do see the value in it, will buy it instantly. $999 is more than fair for a card with no ocp, ovp, Cold bios, unlimited tdp and easy voltage for PLL, VGpu and Vmem.
