Hahahah got this from Reddit :)

https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/43edee/how_i_got_3000_hackers_vac_banned/

Over the course of two weeks I've released three different fake "multihacks". Essentially they edit your view angles to those that should be impossible to get and constantly gives infinite ammo/health. The hacks also do a few other things that ensure a VAC ban would be received.
The first two releases had a "timer" in them which meant the features that instantly VAC banned them would only be activated after a certain time (e.g. 10 PM on the day after the release)... the final hack (with over 3.5k downloads) just instantly VAC bans them as soon as they open the hack and join a game.
In total, my fake hacks received 26,000+ views and 5,500+ downloads!

Congrats @Ahhzz on giving those buggers what they deserve. :D

What you need to do now is put up a disposable email address on the hack page and invite feedback on the performance of your hack so that you have the pleasure of their rants towards you for getting nailed. Then you share some of these gems with TPU. ;)

Been there done that many times in Mechwarrior 4. Never once used a hack in a public server, even though I had all of the available hacks for MW4. I ran the competition at MWL, owner of MWL wanted me to be familiar with the available hacks.

nah they did cheat: a VAC ban is a ban because the cheat got detected ingame, so they are in fault, even at dual fault ... 1st wanting to cheat and actually doing it, 2nd being gullible enough to trust that cheat...
for my side i never use 3rd party trainer or cheat on any game public or not, because i don't trust any of them ;)

Funny enough. Back in the day when Call of Duty 2 came out and there was a competitive community. I was called a cheater many times.... But I never cheated ironically enough. I always just laughed and took it as a compliment.

I wonder how many times Valve gets emails that say "I wasn't hacking yo! I just have mad skills!!!111!!!! Unban me or I'ma get my lawyer to sue your asses!"

I have a feeling they could put up a section on the steam website and it'd be funny to read all the stupid ones.

Just correcting you. That whole quote reads like you are giving @Ahhzz credit
Ok duh, I see what you mean. Somehow I understood it as ahhzz republishing it and nailing people with it.

Now where's that coolaid when I need it... :p

well ... that show how incompetent they are ... the funniest is when a cheater get his ass handed in chain by a "clean" player and the first call the later by all sort of name (including cheater )

Years back (15 years back - damn...I'm getting old), my college roommate and I, used to play Counter Strike (1.6) when it came out. Since we sat close to each other we could easily communicate back and forth (our location, reloading, flashbang, enemy location and so on) that we dominated servers.

Our favorite part was when we could find clan servers that were open to public. Sometimes they were open just for the sake of letting in people that weren't very good so the clan could kick the crap out of them or to try and recruit good players. My roommate and I stomped the crap out of the clan teams over and over again. We'd come out with a KDR of 10:1 or better. We were constantly accused of hacking from clans and banned from their servers. We had a few clans beg us to join them to play in tournaments, but we never took any of them up on the offers. We had no reason to hack - most of these people we went up against just didn't or couldn't communicate with each other and this was their greatest downfall.

I kind of fell out of the online FPS games after a short run when CS: Source came out. The little I tried with Battlefield 2142 really put the nail in the coffin for online FPS due to the rampant hacking I came across just after the game released. Good to hear you're getting those hacking, cheating, little sissies banned. Keep up the good work.

Counter-Strike really has a big competitive following going back pretty far to the original games. I could just never get into It though. The hitboxes are so weird and random it seemed..... I always preferred the hitboxes in the original Call of Duties with hit markers, and iron sight availability. Just my style I guess.

Never had chance to use hacks on any public shooter or mmo game. And I hate ppl who dont play fair, even tho some of games are F2P it still bugs me out.

Besides poor hitboxes, Counter Strike is the grandfather of the awful purchase and perks type system used in most online shooters. You would enter rooms with no equipment, have to scrounge and suffer to get a few kills and start buying up gear just to get competitive; while you continuously got stomped by the server owners who were always decked out in gear.

Meanwhile Rainbow Six handed you a kit list and said 'here, you decide what's best' and off you went, may the best man/team win; no bullshit, just good gameplay without the frustration.

For that alone I have no respect for Counter Strike and the shitty online shooter culture it created.

Half of the problem solved. All that's left is to figure out how to get trolls and stupid people banned as well. :nutkick:

I guess this could have some effect for $$$ CS:GO, but getting people banned from TF2 (f2p), they just come back immediately, and beg for people's extra item drops. It should be telling that most beg for sniper items.
