LOL, was that a skunk at the 1:00 mark? Looks pretty good, can't wait to play this.

It's a badger,it's from skunk family. They are the aggressive ones, skunks just spray and run.

Hmmmm....most badgers I have seen have a broader head. That head is narrow, like a skunk. If it's supposed to be a badger then some people on their staff need to be fired, LOL.

Right, I know badgers are similar in markings, but they are stouter. They have almost no neck and their bodies are wider, plus I don't think it would be so easy to pick one up, and if you did, they'd be more aggressive than that.

    Badger

    Skunk

So if it IS a badger, I agree that they didn't really get it right, unless there's a Himalayan version of one I've never seen before.

Himalayan Honey Badger (looks like a Raccoon)

When I Google Himalayan Skunk I come up with Marijuana. LOL

To be honest I'm not sure this is supposed to be a Skunk or Badger, because it seems to have a smooth, near hairless belly, and most Skunks and Badgers I've seen don't.

"You will need, guns, knives, explosives,...and Skunk repellent to survive!"

After more searching, I think this is a regular Honey Badger, which are found in Africa but also Southwest Asia. It would still be hard to pick one up though, and the belly looks hairier than the one in game. I'm also doubting you'd see such a species at those altitudes.

This guy's narration is hilarious. "CrrrAYzee,...EEEW"! LOL

I'm convinced now that whether this little critter is indigenous to the Himalaya region or not, it's earned a place in Far Cry's universe of badass predators, and I'm still chuckling over that video.:D

...yep, Honey Badgers, confirmed by devs @ :58 mark. They show the "Buzzer" being used too (Small heli gyro-plane of sorts)

@Frag Maniac: That's a hell of an investigative effort! And now we know that it is indeed a sub-species of badger.

And youre right, its nasty enough to have earned a place in a Far Cry game.

I'm excited for FC4 since I enjoyed FC3 very much. I do hope they have a coop mini campaign like FC3 did because that was awesome!
