    doesn't the NDA drop at around 6pm PST or something like that? i was under the impression that europe ect. will get to read reviews in the early hours of saturday.

    clocks were already known but the clocks for the GTX470 are absolutely terrible, they must be the absolute worst cores or nvidia clocked them that low to make the GTX480 shine because the GTX480 is not even the same card as it was 6 months ago since they dropped a sm.

    no whistles is good, but is that card idle?! if it is that is waaaay too loud. My hd5870 IS silent when idle, the fan doesn't even need to turn on. If it's under major load then that's ok and about the same level as the hd5870. Still, benchmark results tomorrow! I'm not expecting it to beat my OC'd 5870, but if nvidia want to stay alive this gen they need a good 15% boost over the 5870 if they plan on releasing at $499.
