Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box Announced

    Square Enix has announced the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box Collection featuring the first 13 Final Fantasy games and a number of bonuses.

    The collection features the first 13 main entries into the series and is set to release in Japan on December 18 for 35,000 Yen (about $450), there’s no word on an American or European release at the moment. The full contents of the collection can be found below:

    Final Fantasy (PS1, one disc)
    Final Fantasy II (PS1, one disc)
    Final Fantasy III (PSP, one disc)
    Final Fantasy IV (PS1, one disc)
    Final Fantasy V (PS1, one disc)
    Final Fantasy VI (PS1, one disc)
    Final Fantasy VII International (PS1, four discs)
    Final Fantasy VIII (PS1, four discs)
    Final Fantasy IX (PS1, four discs)
    Final Fantasy X (PS2, one disc)
    Final Fantasy XI Vana Del Collection 2 (PS2, one disc)
    Final Fantasy XII (PS2, one disc)
    Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, one disc)
    Special anniversary video disc
    Crystal ArtWorks — an anniversary visual art collection
    A two disc anniversary music selection CD
    Final Fantasy XIV Mogu Mogu Earring item code
    Mini replica of Amano FF 25th Anniversary visual and stand

    Are these the actual games for those systems in a all in one box set? compatible with ps3 to be able to play them all straight through? Huge FF fan. Love them. I have the movies and the box set.

    They will work on the systems they were made for. I don't have a ps3 so not sure.

    the ps1 versions will work on any PS3 but the PS2 ones will not unless it is a launch 80GB phat.

    i have 2 ps2s if someone is a huge fan and needs one to play ill give one too you.

    a lot of HD collections are disc releases in Japan. in the US they give you PSOne Classic download codes.

    i traided a 360 elite i got from erocker years ago for a 20GB phat. it now sports a 320GB HDD and a 320GB mounted USB HDD for movies. Soon it will run a mounted 4 port usb dock.

    I have full tear down and rebuild pic logs. should i post them?

    Nah Solaris I am VERY familiar with the "innards" of my PS3. I have baked it 4 times now:roll:
    I just keep resurrecting it. I yanked one of the 160GB HDD's out of this Lappy and swapped it with the 60.

    No Tactics? Just last week I had the urge to play again, but haven't been able to find my disc.

    Anyhoo, nice looking set, but won't be too unhappy if it doesn't have a US release. Already own most carts/discs.
