    If i'm not wrong, a 4830 is an underclocked 4850 w/ a bit less sp's so u can get back to the 4850 clocks just by ocing.

    my 4830 easily went to 690 core memory to 990 using ati overdrive was a great card

    Memory bandwidth is lower I believe but some games simply don't use multiple GPU's like they could so in those scenarios the FPS will plummet.
