    &

Your welcome to both of you guys & anyone else etc. on this note: I know FireFox is "big" around here, so thought you all might like this news... heck, even I installed it to give it a 'test-drive' @ the very least, even though I am more of an Opera 9.x series fan.

Well, I've got to win @ least 1 test on you... it's probably MOSTLY due to vidcard weight that test gives imo!

Well, I loaded her up and it is not compatible with FasterFox and my Image Shack Toolbar. But I am sure there will be an update for both. Go Firefox!
Edit: It has a neat spell check in it when you type in the forums!

    "up, Up, UP!!!"

    :)

    * I know folks here are "FireFox nuts" on the whole here @ this website...

So, I might as well shout it from the rooftops for you all who are into this program to let you know it's out now!

    APK

P.S.=> Even I loaded it to try it out... it's decent! IE7 won't install for me & I went thru ALL of the possibles (on Windows Server 2003 SP1 that is), but this one does, no problemo! apk

How can I get a link to post to some other forums for some of my PC geek buddies who don't know how to spell?

I'm sorry, but what are you asking? You want a link to Firefox 2.0 to post on another forum? Is that it?

Just copy the URL FireFox is at from your location bar. Then post it in whatever forum you want.

Well, using it right now, as a matter of fact, posting here... I like it.

    It's FAST!

Yes, fast, as long as you don't "load it down" w/ TOO much plugins/addons, etc.'s... always was for me, @ least until I bogged other previous versions w/ those things.

    * Thing is, though, to know which ones of those extensions you like? WELL, You DO really HAVE to try quite a few of them...

Eventually, then make a set of decisions on WHICH to keep! BUT, in the meantime, be bogged down by too many...

(I am GLAD this is a new model - no extensions probably work w/ it yet from 3rd parties... lol, even though many of those XUL addons are good, too much of a good thing & all that... )

Yes Alec, I did see this yesterday, but I was waiting for Mozilla to have it on their main page before posting it as news :) (okay fine I admit you beat me to it lol).

My feelings exactly, luckily for me the Noia skin is already up and working in ver. 2.0, so looks for haven't changed a bit from 1.5 to 2.0, but damn it's faster than the previous release :D

Off topic: So Alec, are you going to dress up as "V" this halloween? xD Saw some sick "V" costumes in a store today, but dang, they were too expensive! :(

It's QUICK - I am going to keep it around, though, STOCK/OEM pure... no XUL addons.

That's a HELL of an idea, but I have NO idea where to get a "Guy Fawkes" mask... but, I was thinking go as "AGENT SMITH" lol, easy to put together (I have a black silk suit (with pleated pants, love them) & tie, + Geoffrey Beene shirt (love them) in white, & black leather shoes (italian, the best, but TOO thin of soles for daily use) & black socks)... how hard is THAT?

It's NOT! The "Classic IBM Look", it never goes outta style, except I am adding "modern fluorishes", such as the pants, the shoes, & the glasses (not part of IBM look though, but wayfarers & such? There IS better black glasses!)... lol!

    APK

P.S.=> The glasses I am "bumming" off a pal, more modern than black 'wayfarer' types, have to "go in style" lol, & 2 of my pals & I already talked about it... I will cut a damn pigtail curly phone cord & rig some earphones to have us look like the "3 agents"... we are heading out to a HUGE party this city has every year as the 3 of them... pretty chicks, in stuff like "French Maid" outfits (I remember THAT from last year, YEA!)... I.M. PSYCHED, believe-it-or-not! It's fun... I get into it! apk

Ah... "your report timeliness is DOWN lately!" - I am just "aware of certain happenings before they happen" (using the force, luke)... lol!

    :)

    * Just busting your balls, this is NO big deal!

I hear several other discrete points in the space-time continuum are having awesome parties as well.

I sure hope that catches on as a trend, competition and prices would go WAY down! Imagine, AMD releases some crazy uber Athletron edition, and Intel congratulates them...I'd love that :D.

And, it would add a LOT of "class" to a very competitive field, & it's the RIGHT thing to do!

Hey, I've done the same to folks who I have "had it out with" online & @ work even for the same company... especially to competitors, when they do good? DO congratulate them for it...

    APK

P.S.=> Posting this in FireFox 2.0 by the by... I am liking it more & more as I use it, it is VERY fast & VERY clean work imo! apk
