what if every time you logged into TPU, we changed your username to animal 008, 009, etc?

completely unrelated, but i'm sure it'd annoy you too :p

(the real bitch is that for plugins for firefox that many of us use, stupid version checkers are screwed over by this)

And they wernt screwed over by 3.01b and 3.02a and shit like that?

It's the exact same as they were doing before but instead of counting all the between bits as well they're just keeping it simple with whole numbers.

They still have updates coming out their arse

not as badly, no - because some of them only checked '3.x' for example.

I don't care. Nowadays build and version numbers are irrelevant. I don't use ff anyway, I have opera. I'll try ff when it'll be "memory leak"-bug free.

First Impression after using FF5 for a few hours....I like it. its not so bad. and as for the argument about users who create themes and add-ons being shafted. that aparently isnt so as FF5 is still compatible with FF4 add-ons and themes.

there maybe quite a lot of changes with FF5 but obviously not enough under the hood for a complete change
