Hi guys, I am still AMD guy, but I bought for some benchmarking i7 980x "B" batch. It will run at long time, because i want testing most BIOSes and experience with it. Board is Rampage III Extreme, I started with 0602 BIOS....

4510 MHz...Its maximum stable OC? No, not yet:)

And this is maximum stable clock, but of course, a bit higher voltage for aircooling (1.467V, 4572 MHz )

Superpi run is not much tweaked, Il try later with newest BIOSes about 8s run (at 0602 I cant run RAMs more than 1600 MHz:confused:)
Others benchmarks I show later in next days

WARNING over 1.4V seems to REALLY FRY these chips.

I guess "F" Batch really does mean "Fail", my 980x needs like 1.44v just for 4.5GHz with HT off.

of course, more then 1.4V for 24/7 air is a bit danger, but for only validation it is very little risk (dangerous are temps or very high vcore for validation with air(1.7 or more).
