No I haven't tried that yet, but I will, ty. I tried overclocking my ram from 800 to 820 just to get me over the hump, but it didn't post. But I also didn't set the ram volts to 2.1 or 2.2..so that may help huh?

I was wondering about your 3GB of Ram. Is that three 1GB DIMMs?

I always thought you needed either A1 and B1, A2 and B2, or all four slots filled to get dual channel?

Anyway, from my experience with the SE, I have found that linking and synching the FSB and RAM results in the best stability and overall performance.

Also, the SE tends to slightly overvolt the RAM, while it suffers from Vdroop on the CPU. In other words; set your Ram voltage a little low and your CPU voltage a little high.

Yes it's 1gb sticks. I stayed away from 4gb because i was afraid xp wouldn't work if i did that.

32 bit OS only recognize 4GB of Total System Memory.

I have 4GB of RAM (2X2GB) and since I am using an 8800GTX GPU (768MB of RAM), Windows sees ~3.2GB of the 4GB.

My question was if your RAM is actually in dual channel mode?

Do not despair!

You can either add one more 1GB DIMM to the open slot or remove the odd DIMM (leaving one DIMM in each of the same colored slots. You should then have your RAM in dual channel mode.

Is there any benefit to running dual channel over single channel? Will that help me with overclocking maybe?
