    i need a gtx260 55nm evga card still.

    also need a 128gb ssd for under $275

    and most of all importance...

    a cheap 88/98/96 or gts card for around $50

    Ok, sorry guys I was completely wrong here. I just setup my new array and it wasn't registering as fast as 250+250MB/s; BUT I installed Intel's Raid Storage and enabled Write Back caching and well I'll let this do the talking:

    Need a cheap set of 2x2GB DDR2. It's for a juvenile penitentiary that I volunteer for. I think they're DDR2-4200.

    Still looking for 190GB+ of SSD with decent real life performance, but for a bargain price :)
    Lower read/writes are OK, as long as randoms are good.

    On that matter, I read that SSD writing speed scales linear on raid 0. How about access times? Are they better or worse?

    I'm talkin' CHEAP cheap. This is going into a server, so no overclock potential, prettyness, etc. needed. The cheaper the better since the teacher's paying for it out of pocket for the kids.

    LOL yea! at christmas of 2008 i got a set of OCZ SLI DDR2-800 for 39.99$ with a 30$ MIR which made it 9.99 for 2x2GB set!! still have the invoice!
