Have you not tried flashing it through Windows if doing it via a command prompt isn't helping? Wonder if you could edit the BIOS that you flashed to the card so that you could trick it into thinking its a compatible, albeit, redundant BIOS?

Hmmm.... I haven't had breakfast this morning so I'll chew this one over.

I'd say just contact XFX about it. Explain what happened, no need for lies and deceit (saying it just plain didn't work suddenly, claiming someone else was responsible, etc. as suggested in this thread). Just tell them what happened and sure maybe there will be a service fee to pop in a new BIOS chip, but I don't see XFX completely screwing you over on it.

Hopefully/maybe W1zzard can help.

find the bios chip, disconnect its chip select pin, power up the system, boot into dos, connect the chip select pin while sitting at the dos prompt, flash the card

lol accidentally flashing the wrong bios is not that unheard of a mistake. However now that he's done it he needs to do his homework, listen to Wizz, and do the work to get it back on track. That way he'll never do it again. If someone just fixes it for him, then the liklihood of a repeat is high.

This happens sometimes, so this problem was nothing new to me, specially when you dont have another card to work with....ever heard of "blind flashing" ??? I had to resort to that twice.....and it SUCKED :mad:
