Flickering colours

I've just installed Windows XP Home 32-bit

Here is my spec

AMD 64 X2 dual core 5600+ 2.8 Ghz
2048 MB RAM
320GB Samsung Hard Drive
ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512 mb Graphics card
600 W power supply
19" Sony CRT Monitor

At random intervals, the display flickers light shades of green and blue. Is this a problem with my graphics card or Monitor?? The computer is 3 months old, the Monitor is 8-9 months old.

have you degaussed it recently..

Also check to make sure your speakers are not to close to the monitor as they can cause a blu/green shade on the screen sometimes...

To degauss your monitor just find it on the controls of the monitor, the screen will shake like crazy and then come good again, you should do this once a week or so....

does it display these lines when you are on the desktop or only when you stress the gfx card a little???

Have you got the latest drivers for your card??

What brand is your psu.....
