SO i was encoding around 48 songs on foobar and it was encoding 4 songs at a time with a total speed of 100x . Now that is efficient approach to parallel computing.

thats cool im glad some programs that most n00bs buy a quad core for are working like video audio encoding etc.

i knew x264 encoder takes full advantage of a quad core ,but this was totally unexpected. somebody should do a benchmark with foobar too. I was done with encoding 48 songs in 2:30 . Awesome !!
