Need an option for "goes off every night." My computer runs about 12-16 hours/day. Server never goes off.

Most of my computers stay on 24/7 but my main rig is only on when I'm using it, so probably 2-4 hours a day.

I shut my system off at night, but on average it's up around 7 hours a day or so.

+1 All of my rigs run WCG at full load 24/7/365

I do shut off the monitors whenever I'm not using the rigs so those are usually on for 5-6 hrs per day

Runs 24/7. Oh yeah and WCG is running 24/7 for most of the time, too, still for Team TPU.
    Exceptions:
    - My cats somehow manage to switch off the computer... which they proved they are capable of.

I shut my PCs down when I'm done using them....My newest PC boots up in less then 20 seconds and is ready to go....I'm impatient but not that impatient....The only reason I can think of leaving them on all the time is for WCG, servers etc or something like that...

Standy after 20 min of no usage. Normally my PC would be used for 2 hrs and 3+ hrs if gaming.

as far as i know, latest games are suited for normal people in the default mode itself. and the easy mode is really easy. so unless you want to level up and unlock everything(which is the point of playing), there is no need of trainers.

I wake up from sleep, first I turn on PC then go to bathroom. After ~16 hours I turn off PC then go back to bed to sleep.

The only time my machine is off is when it is broken, and so far with the SB-E it hasn't happened so only restarts for me with the exception of one hard drive failure and another preemptive drive swap in the RAID-5. My laptop is in standby and both phenom II rigs are on all the time, one of which is off site. All of my machines have all c-states enabled and have all power saving options turned on, it's best to have power on demand that way you get the best of both worlds.
Yes! I do this as well. Between my 22" and 28" they consume almost 100 watts, being 1/2 of my rigs idle usage putting me at a total of ~310-watts idle with displays on and ~200 with the displays off.

With WCG running my SB-E usage can get as high as 550-watts without the displays. but that's also driving two overclocked video cards and an overclocked SB-E.

I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly, but I do stop refreshing tPU for a few hours each night.

Really? Seemed like a pretty straight-forward question to me. During those few hours do you shut it off, let it sleep, hibernate or do you just leave it turned on?
