yes, you can use onboard vga until your new videocard arrives. even use it, but probably not for gaming

the mobo said it has no on broad graphics but i'm guessing you can still turn it on and do everything if i have to i can use the 640 i have in my system now

correct if you have a nvidia gt 640 can run it on that motherbaord, also pretty good selection / bundle, gigabyte motherboards are pretty solid options on AMD, pretty solid,
How are you gonna chill ythat FX processor?
Are you gonna use the Same HP linup that you have on the current HP rig?

ok no overclock... but those processors are well know for heat issues, so better think on at least Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO, to keep your rig chilled...

I'm buying every thing this week I have only the case so far and I'm sticking with that mobo combo since I can afford it I'm selling my Xbox tomorrow so I have a $730 to spend

Yes, you can use the old GPU for the time to run windows and such but that board does not have on-board and neither does the chip so you need a GPU to run it.

Is that the budget total or just for the other components besides the CPU and motherboard?

Thats pretty peny budget, and as i told before gigabyte motherboards are well know for qualitty, also is a well know issue that AMd motherboards from gigabyte are ultra asskickers...pretty nice combo the one you found,

you can save like $90 re-using your current 16GB of ram memory[info taken from specs]
but as far as i could see your computer list will be something like this:

your budget for that list is like $700? i think you can doit incluiding GTX 970...!
