[FF] Free 4GB Sticks of DDR2 Server Memory

Ive got 32GB (4GBx8) of DDR2 ECC Server Memory pulled from a working HP server. This is ECC memory, so it may/may not work in your old desktop.

Here are the specs:

4GB 2Rx4 PC2-5300P-555-12-K0

Ill give them away in pairs, so there will be a total of 4 pairs available. The only requirement is a couple bucks for shipping.

Buffered or Unbuffered? I ask because my server board uses ECC memory that is unbuffered.

memoryten.com appears to state that these are RDIMMs with ECC, not UDIMMs.

I read the serial number off the image and plugged it in to get this:

Out of curiosity, what kind of HP server were they pulled from? I have a HP DL180 G5 that doesn't like any of the memory I throw at it.

Honestly I don't know. One of the customers who colocates with the data center I work for let me yank them before they decommed their old servers. Figured they might help someone out as ECC memory can get pricey.
