Got 12 GBs of 1066 DDR3 from work.

Can do 8-8-7-20 @ 1600 mhz and a few other timings can be dropped a good bit but I'm not actually noticing a increase in benchmark scores so I'm just leaving it loose. Maybe I need something a little more consistent than this everest bench. The score changes a lot even without changing the settings. Though I have noticed consistency in one thing, lowering down to 8-8-7-20 seems to increase latency :wtf:

IT INCREASES LATENCY BECAUSE EITHER THE RAM IS UNSTABLE OR THE MEMORY CONTROLLER IS UNSTABLE. Also on hwbot.org you can get maxxmem it tests ram as well pretty neat little program
EDIT: sorry bout the caps, im just to lazy to change it

That's certainly possible. I didn't do as thorough a job testing stability at 7-20 as I did the other settings.
