Why so harsh, Bo$$?
It's only a beta, a closed one, in fact. Care to tell why is it so much of a waste of time?
Mine installed ok and started to run ok too, but the damn account setup f****d everything, it even hanged my PC with a stupid error that would let me deal with it...haven't tried again.

usually i dont mind BETA stage games (i have been in many) well the cars handle like rubbish (ABP style), this is too M.O.O.R for me, gameplay is pointless and quite slow, TDU is dead for me now, its just lost all its good points... :mad:

I'm keen to see how this is going to pan out for PC this time around, I was hugely into the first one for PC with my G25, but there were just so many issues.

firstly at the time it needed a decent whack more graphical horsepower than was justified for the visuals you got, then theres crashes, freezes, bugs, and the ridiculous amount of time it took them to release the ONE and only patch it ever got.

time to right some wrongs here Atari

it may be beta but it really reminded me of the beta for the original, it sucked and then test drive when it released was just as bad.

TDU is a great game. If this one is pretty much the same but with better visuals I will enjoy it.

Its the perfect game when you just want to jump in a car and take a drive.

I tend to agree, this beta doesn't have a good feel to it really.. looks pretty ok, but cars don't even sound as good as TDU. then again I don't have a wheel handy to try to see how that goes.

IMO a G25 was close to amazing in TDU1.

I liked the graphics, gameplay, and free roam style of TDU. I actually drove to the nearest mall that had a copy, paid full retail. But it crashed, constantly, corrupted profiles, lag in online games, plus the huge cheating, activation limit and lack of mods. Atari banned the people who actually fixed the games from their forums, gave more cars to the 360 players, lied about the "patch" for months on end.

I submitted multiple support tickets, replaced.

None managed to fix the damn game, I finally found the fix was a hacked patch that would get you banned for using it if you were caught.

Fuck Atari and their shit.
