Me too. I thought it was a much better game.

Eh wot?

WaW was utterly terrible....reminded me of the Pre CoD4 games which in my opinion were all a pile of boring crap.....CoD4 tho, I must say was excellent...MW2 looks like it will be even better.

I think the main difference between 4 and W.A.W is one is factual and the other is fiction, you can make a epic story up, but we've all played war games so much that w.a.w was just kinda "the same"

i enjoyed both on different levels, i thought W.A.W has boring repetitive missions for the U.S marines, but the Russian story was awesome.

Online, i am better at W.A.W for some reason, dunno why considering i played 4 for almost a year longer.

i think the only thing you can compare in the 2 is multiplayer which is equally as fun in both comparing the story isn't really fair, i mean how exciting can you get with a story when you've heard/scene it 100 times over.

I dont think fact v fiction has much to do with it but instead, think that level design has everything to do with it. To be honest, I never played much of WaW as I was put of the single player game very early on. But an example of Treyarchs shockingly poor design is those many instances when you are ambushed and you run for cover to bushes, only to find a 1 foot high shrub is actually a no go area and instead of being able to hide, you simply die. In CoD4, the no-go areas are pretty obvious to the gamer and this is just one small example of Treyarch's blundering hand that for me, ruined all previous CoD games they done and also ruins this one.

INFiNITY WARD + MW2 4TW.

I like em both, but I like WaW a little better. I think Treyarch did a dam good job myself, specially with the Map packs, I only hope Infinity Ward follows Treyarch with the release of several map packs as well, as far as single player mode is concerned I kinda know what you mean, but it makes you learn to take a good look and react a little faster For future online play

THERE both fiction based of real events, Look up that C130 video from Afghanistan looks extremely familiar to a certain level on cod4, and i was watching a DOC on netflix and I swear the market they were in after a major fight, looked just like where the battle took place on MW, ok going to play MW:rockout:

I don't see how this is leaked, especially when Robert Bowling posted it on his Twitter. I don't see why he would link to a video if it wasn't supposed to be out, but this is Infinity Ward we're talking about they're not dicks like most other developers.

Looks sweet anyway, I still wonder what that new perk is, I hope their new video is out soon, was supposed to be out last week, they said the dual pistols wasn't the new perk they were going to show, it's something most people wanted. It's not them getting rid of Marty"I need to die to get a kill"dom because they said it's new, I can only think of dual weapon attatchments.

it may, but i am a big fan of uncharted and my wife actually likes playing assassins creed. i may just have to do a "trial" of the PC games until i can justify dropping 250 bucks in one month for video game entertainment...

if it stays a zillion quid to buy it for ages count me out, i mean look at cod 4 its old now but it retained a bit of value so if mf2 is like that think if its sold at £40-60 then it will be rocket high for ages even at second hand

looks a lot like modern warfare 1 i have to admit, i wasnt much a fan of anything after cod 2 even cod 2 was just the same but a bit more dramatic than gameplay

but to say that just coz it looks like a console port it will be bad is a bit naive its a bit pc fanboy and even then bad company 2 is a console port so to say that sounds contradictory

whatever i hope if it fails im sick of the fan boys any game with fan boys deserved to fail just like the game and play it simple

EDIT: im not one for this season of games, a couple games and no more left 4 dead and forza 3 and im set i think

i think that some of these software companies would benefit a lot by spreading out their release dates. obviously they plan for a lot of their major releases around xmas because of the high level of sales, but just about everyone is on a budget and cant justify spending money on several video games in 1 month. that is how we get in debt! anyway, it is fun to buy a game the day it comes out because if it is multiplayer you get a jump on the competition. there is nothing worse than buying a game after it has been out for 6 months and getting pwned in multiplayer to the point that it sucks and you wish you didnt spend that 60 dollars on the game. just my 2 cents.

i agree. i understand the concpet of the supply and demand but i wonder how much research they have done regarding dropping the retail price after only 2 months rather than 6 months.

It looks pretty nice, i can tell the first one is a real in-game picture judging from the polygon count on the gun and the texture of the buildings or whatever on the background.

Either way I'm hooked to CoD 4 multiplayer atm.. dun care if there's no achievements tbh because they have challenges, perks and levels to make up for it and unlike achievements it actually affects your in-game profile and how you play. If they did add achievements it would be just like obtaining achievements from achievements since the challenges are similar :S.

Don't expect a massive graphic improvement to the series until the next "Next-gen" consoles are released.
