Recently I've replaced the dc jack and burned traces off my laptop by following the advice I've been given. The link to the thread i made on how to replace the jack is bellow. I tried to power on the laptop after but nothing happened. Could my motherboard be fried now from the burned traces making a short or a dead battery? I've got a multimeter to help diagnose the problem.
