from a x1800xt to x1900xt is it worth it

I can sell my x1800xt 256 mb for 190.00 and buy a x1900xt 256 mb for 239.00 but is it worth it ? what do you think

Yeah, I would say so. I did just that going from a X1800GTO to an X1800XT, for that same price difference. It's enough of a boost to justify a $50 difference.

not really. its a small boost and wont affect much. unless u cant live without that extra fps..

not worth it in my opinion, theres only a 1,000 pt gain in 3dmark05, if you want a little more fps just oc

not worth it. the difference s very little. matching clock for clock you might get 7-10FPS more, but thats your lot.

man y x1800xt runs hot

my chip stay cool but my volt regulator sometimes hits 81c with my Accelerrox2 at 100 percent. I have great case cooling but man this card runs hot

also how about future games the x1800xt only has 16 pixel shaders and the x1900xt has 48 I believe

true but games don't use all the shaders and both cards have 16 pixel pipelines. the difference will be marginal, now waiting a bit and getting an r600, not so marginal.

Well, if it were more than 50 bucks, I would't go for it, but since it would be so cheap, you might as well get it. Hell, if for no reason other than the fact that it will hold it's resale value longer than the X1800.

The pc tweaking game is not for the faint of heart is fps worth extra money hell yes spend spend spend. who ever dies with the most toys wins get a 1950xt don't be a cheap skate

the 1900xt has a fair bit more grunt than the 1800xt go for it.. and if u can overclcock one u can overclock the other.. clock for clock comparions are kinda pointless..
