Got a bundle of SCSI drives which I used for my main system drive and my long loading gaming programs (i.e. Battlefield 2, CounterStrike Source- nothing like loading before everyone else and saying "Get loading times tbh..." :D). I used the Maxtor for my main drive. Excellent drives and are extremely reliable because of the server-ness in it. If you need more information on these just send me a PM.

36.8GB Maxtor Atlas 15k - 8C036L0 - Ultra320 - RRP £88.13 inc VAT
Model Number:8C036L0
Capacity:36.8 GB
Speed:15000 rpm
Seek time:3.2 ms avg
Interface:Ultra320 SCSI

Adaptec SCSI Card - 29160N - PCI - RRP £148.48 inc VAT
- 160 MByte/sec performance
- SpeedFlex™ technology ensures top performance of all connected devices, regardless of SCSI generation
- Seamless backwards compatibility protects legacy devices
- Industry-leading compatibility, reliability
- CRC (Cyclical Redundancy Checking) improves data integrity
- Domain Validation intelligently verifies system configuration for improved reliability

I'm looking for £45 for the whole lot (drive, cable, card, drivers)- which already includes delivery charges
Preferred payment is bank transfer by HSBC

thats Ultra320 SCSI compared to SATA150. and one 15k RPM drive compared to Dual 10k RPM drives...i would think the speed of scsi would make up the difference?

access times would be faster, but in some instances the Raptor would be faster.
The SCSI would always win when it came to opening lots of small files quickly- such as using it as a boot drive would make a big difference at loading times -
But Raptors in RAID0 would always win when it came to using your computer as a file system or something like that...
But to be honest the SCSi is only useful as a boot drive or a page file disk.
But for £45 you can't really go wrong...

Would you sell that disk without the controller? Assuming it doesn't have any bad sectors. If so what would it cost shipped to .nl?
Considering the value of SCSI cabling you can keep that too :).

@Verizon, I'd rather say the SCSI drive is Woodcrest compared to the Raptor when you're calling the Raptor Conroe. The only thing 2 Raptors would win is burst and sustained transfers.

Sorry, I'm only interested in selling them all as a bundle. The analogy that you have used is reasonably accurate as well.
Thanks for your interest anyway...

I think he sold both already. Plus, 15K disk + PCI = silly. That drive deserves a better home, on a PCI-X controller :)
