    MSI EX625-227US NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 4GB DDR2 HD4670 512MB GDDR3 320GB SATA2

    Glowing Notebookcheck Review

Warranty Info - 3 Years from manufacturing date

    $old

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152108

This laptop is practically new - less than 100 hours of use - and as small as you're going to get for a 16" as you can see the screen comes very close to the edge of the frame. It also weighs in at just under 6lbs, making it one of the lightest gaming laptops around. The only game I tried on it was (Colin McRae) DiRT which ran like glass while it looked like a slideshow on my friend's Dell E6500. Its really a great laptop but I went back to an x301 Thinkpad since I'm bike commuting and I really missed the trackpoint.

Full disclosure: The fan is a little loud much of the time. I have not registered the machine and will provide you with the invoice (from mwave) so that you can do that yourself. The MSI website states that even without registration the warranty is 3 years from manufacturing date but it seems that only applies to the original owner, so I will let you send this in to be repaired if it bothers you enough. Also, there is one of those "warranty void if broken" stickers on the bottom that was broken when I got it.

I'm actually tempted by that laptop to replace the rigs I'm selling.

What sort of FPS does it get in crysis medium settings? ( if you know)

Will still have to wait for all my stuff to be sold though.

    lol no

I went to replace the HDD and the seal was broken, believe it or not. I have the receipt for the new purchase at Mwave which will be provided to the buyer.

"The MSI EX625 was given a battery of rather low capacity (4800mAh, 54Whr), which achieved a maximum run duration of 3.5 hours (216 minutes with Turbo Battery mode on, and 204 minutes in power saving mode). Activated WiFi gives the user 2.5 hours before the connection abruptly closes."

Source now in original post. I have honestly only used it for more than a few minutes a handful of times so I can't really say but I will test it if anyone is seriously interested.
