The Sony battery recalls continue as Sharp is joining the fray by recalling 28,000 batteries while Fujitsu has recalled an additional 51,000 batteries. Fujitsu had already announced last week that it would recall 287,000 units. These latest recalls bring the number of Sony batteries recalled to more than 7.7 million.

Apparently, they were manufactured in North Korea, and they want them back for military purposes! ;-)

OMG, lol @ Sony. What a bad year for sony but a good year for the consumer, Exspect good sized sony discounts as they try to restore their reputation up until the ps3 is released and a new can of worms is opened.

The overheating issues on the PS3 might lead to the same effect... we're just being used as guinea-pigs to test next gen secret explosives!
