I was flashing my laptop's BIOS with a supposedly updated image when power went out, it wasnt on backup; so I end up with a dead laptop on my hands. It powers with all indicators showing properly but very clearly, the MOBO dosent come up. The BOS is a square one and its detatchable, so i believe it can be reprogrammed.

The system details:
Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 7830
Intel celeron 2.13 GHz proc.
256MB x 2 ddr RAM
PLZ suggestiong will greatly appreciated. I have backups of the bios image i need to know how to reprogram the bios i sincerely believe that this will solve my problem.

Yeah, you'll have to take it to back to Fuj I'm afraid. They will replace the MB. Just call it in as a warranty claim, but don't tell them that you were attempting to flash the firmware. They don't normally have the equipment to test for BIOS related problems at their base, so they will just replace the MB. Trust me, I used to work for Compaq/HP a few years ago.
