    It's because it uses SODIMM (?) so the memory is called for laptop

    Cristian_25H said laptop instead of SO-DIMM as many people won't know what SO-DIMMs are. Plus the iMac obviously isn't a laptop.

    This will please a lot of pretentious "graphic designers".

    So because people don't understand correct terminology the news should just say it wrong? Perhaps we should say Microsoft instead of G.SKILL as people might not know G.SKILL, and say school instead of professional because people might get confused about that as well.

    Do these modules cost twice as much as the PC counterpart due to the iMac label?

    Bah, we know what SO-DIMMs are Cristian! Been used in many devices besides laptops for decades, even in certain Cray computers.


    Without a picture, I thought it was one until a couple posts later. ;)
