I never thought a mouse could make such a difference in the things I do on a PC.
Think about it a mere pointing device yet this thing handles like a Porsche and I'm not kidding. First thing I noticed That made a difference is control under Photoshop for years I have tried to cut figures our using lasso tool, I might as well been using a chain saw but this new mouse makes it seem like Childs play. Still playing with it,the custom weights are great these things have always been too small and to light but adding the weights makes it stable in my hams I mean hands. So why are you still reading this go get you one

I have to agree with OP. G5 mouse is awesome if you are right handed. I used to have MX518 and G7 but the G5 exceeded them all. Love the rough surface. This mouse was my instrument of destruction as it propelled me to a 5:1 KD ratio in BF2!

I got the mx510. Great mouse for the price i payed. 25 euro new.
Only the scroll button feels a bit cheap.
When the price drops i will get me a G5 or MX revolution. Goes perfect with my G15 keyboard.

ive played around with the g5 and razor and cant stand either personally. i absolutly love my 518. i run it at 800dpi and have polished the feet and my desk so its super smooth. the texture is the reason i cant stand the g5. that and the weird button placement.

Got a G7 myself. I couldn't cope with cords, so I got the G7 instead of G5. I love it, best mouse I've ever used. You just fly over the desktop and it's so blazing fast!
