Is this the same card but into two names?
Looks like it yeah, IIRC Gainward is a division of Palit anyway
Is this a good choice?
Either of them, are but it depends what you are paying over other GTX 260 216SP
Palit GeForce GTX 260 Sonic 216 SP / 206$ in my country
GAINWARD GeForce GTX 260 GS / 224$
They the only GTX 260s you can get?
No. I can choose any 260, but I want card with the best performace/price
I bought a stock GTX 260 192 and mine is clocked higher than either of those!
IMO, factory OCd cards are a waste of money. I have yet to have a stock card that cant out clock a factory OC
Which card is factory OC`ed?
Both are. Stock clocks on a GTX 260 216 SP are:
576 Core, 1242 Shaders, 999 Memory
Anything higher than that is factory OCd
And? What`s a problem with that?
IMO its a waste of money if you are paying more for the company to do what you can do yourself.
If the same price or within a few £, I would buy the factory OCd, otherwise they all use the same GPU
Palit GeForce GTX 260 Sonic 216 SP 896 MB is the cheapest GTX 260 I`ve found in my country
Thats ok then, get it!
Separate names with a comma.
