Not to kill a sale, but if you have them local, check a used game shop, the Xbox 360 controllers can be had pretty cheap!

+1

Just pick up a wired xbox 360 controller. Make sure you get the official Microsoft one though as the 3rd party ones tend to be garbage.

I have about 10 PS2 controllers, I never use my PS2 anymore, found a cheap ps2-to-usb adapter, works in vista x64 w/o any issues, never have to calibrate. I have a SmartJoy PS2 converter...but there are many out there...or you could just snag a USB XBox 360 controller..I chose PS2 because I can't stand the xbox controllers...just used to what works for me I suppose!

i wanted a good controller on my PC so i made a little adapter to hook up xbox controllers to the PC, its not hard the wire colors are the same as any USB cable

i had a dead xbox and took out the ports from inside there, that way i didnt have to ruin my controllers

sorry im poor so if there is ever a free way to do something i do it that way :p plus i think its fun to do that sorta thing.
